Medit i900 Mobility – Beyond Wireless, True Mobility
The Medit i900 Mobility is designed to give dental professionals the freedom to scan wherever treatment takes place. Unlike conventional wireless scanners that depend on a dedicated laptop or proprietary mobile cart, it can connect directly through Wi-Fi to a compatible iPad using Medit Link Express, or to a computer using the standard Medit Link workflow. This makes it easy to move between treatment rooms while keeping the scanning setup compact and flexible.
Its next-generation optical system combines third-generation 10-bit imaging, dual optical cameras and a scanning depth of up to 30 mm to capture detailed anatomy, reflective materials and deeper areas with clarity. A wider 18 × 15 mm field of view covers more surface area in each pass, supporting a smoother and more efficient scanning experience.
The scanner incorporates Wi-Fi 6E connectivity for fast, low-latency data transmission and supports approximately one hour of continuous use or more than 30 scans per charge. Its integrated battery-management system monitors temperature, voltage and charging conditions, while LED indicators provide clear information about scanning, standby and battery status.
Three reusable tip sizes—large, medium and small—allow the scanner to accommodate different patients and clinical situations. Combined with Medit’s open digital ecosystem, the i900 Mobility is suitable for restorative, implant, orthodontic and other digital dental workflows while providing the flexibility of a genuinely portable scanning solution.
